The British Columbia healthcare industry is a $7 billion dollar industry which employs over 100,000 people and delivers
services to approximately 3.8 million people. The industry is comprised of public sector organizations, specialized private sector
companies and industry associations. It is administered publicly through the Ministry of Health which sets policy and standards, and
provides governance and funding for direct provision of services. Service is provided by hospitals, other health facilities, and
